He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

Psalm 91:1-2

With all the bad things happening in the world today, it’s easy to become afraid. We worry that something bad might happen to us or our loved ones.

My friend, Scripture tells us that “he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” There’s a secret place—under the shadow of the Almighty—where we can find refuge and safety 24/7!

But how do we dwell in this secret place?

The psalmist tells us, “I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.’” We dwell in this secret place when we depend on the Lord to protect us.

When fearful thoughts swarm your mind, be quick to say, “Lord Jesus, You are my refuge and my fortress. I trust You to watch over, deliver, and keep my family and me safe.”

My friend, there’s no need to live another day afraid and anxious. Come under His wings, and trust Him to protect you and yours!
