I am a 26-year-old man who volunteers as a news anchor.

Some months ago, I had a sore throat and lost my voice. I was diagnosed with laryngitis and was told I would need three weeks to fully recover.

However, I needed to read the news in five days and wanted to be well by then. At that moment, I remembered a particular daily devotional where Pastor Joseph Prince taught about the Holy Communion. I partook of the Holy Communion and declared, “I am taking in the health that is in Jesus’ body.”

During the next few days, I continued to declare that I am healed. I kept speaking over myself and declaring that I have the best voice for a news reader. By the time of the news recording, my voice was fully restored!
